Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-11-01 · Guwang Soft
This policy explains what information the mobile game Red Hat Odyssey (the “App”), made by the games team of Guwang Soft (“we”, “us”), collects, why, and the choices you have. Playing without signing in is fully supported.
1. What we collect
| Data | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress and settings (coins, items, cleared stages, records, volume, graphics) | Always, stored on your device | To run the game. Stays on the device unless you sign in. |
| A random device ID created by the App, a nickname (auto-generated, editable), stage scores, clear times, platform (iOS/Android) | When you clear a stage | Online leaderboards |
| Account identifier from Google or Apple, your e-mail address, and your saved game data | Only if you sign in (optional) | Cloud save, keeping one device signed in at a time, support |
| Advertising data handled by Google AdMob: device advertising identifier (if allowed), IP address, device and app information, ad interactions | When ads are shown | To show and measure ads; personalised only where you have agreed |
| Purchase confirmations from the App Store / Google Play | When you buy an in-app item | To deliver what you bought. We never receive your payment card details. |
| Crash reports and diagnostics (device model, OS version, app version, the error and where it happened) | When the app crashes or hits an error | To find and fix bugs (Firebase Crashlytics) |
| App usage statistics (sessions, screens, app version, approximate country, an app-instance identifier) | While you use the app | To understand how the game is played and to measure ads (Google Analytics for Firebase) |
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or microphone. The App can save a record card image to your photo library only when you choose to share it.
2. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf or under their own policies:
- Cloudflare — hosts our game server and database (leaderboards, cloud save).
- Google — AdMob advertising, Google Sign-In, Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase. See how Google uses data from partner apps.
- Ad networks served through AdMob mediation — Meta Audience Network, AppLovin and Pangle (ByteDance) may receive the advertising data above to show and measure ads, under their own privacy policies and subject to your consent choices.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases.
Data may be processed in countries other than yours, including the United States and the Republic of Korea, with appropriate safeguards.
3. Advertising choices
- Where required (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) the App asks for your consent before personalised ads, and you can change it later.
- On iOS, personalised ads use your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in system settings.
4. How long we keep it
- Leaderboard entries and cloud saves: until you delete your account or ask us to delete them.
- Rate-limit records on our server: about one day.
- On-device data: until you delete the App or reset it.
5. Your rights and deleting your data
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time. To delete your account and cloud save, see Delete your account & data. Signing out on a device resets that device; your account data stays until you delete it.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens are verified on our server, and session tokens are stored only as hashes.
8. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Significant changes will also be announced in the App.
